Re:k series in crx
I would just buy the engine if it was that cheap...you getting it with tranny etc.??

Re:k series in crx
engine, tranny, wiring harness, ecu 1000. how much would it be to find someone to custom do them?

Re:k series in crx
I've heard that all that costs about $7K...either way you can buy it and sell it on ebay.

Re:k series in crx
The mounts really would be up to any good fabricator. Back before we had mount kits people use to have to weld in there b/h series motors. One problem with the k in a 4 th gen the motor sits really tall you cant find a hood to clear.

Re:k series in crx
Hell if i could get that motor for that cheap i would roll without a hood. ;D

Re:k series in crx
if I got the setup for that cheap I'd just not connect the hood hinges and just hook it to the latch in front so it doesn't fly off. you shouldn't have too much trouble getting the mounts, if it comes down to it you could just weld the engine into the car, haha.

Re:k series in crx
does anybody know of any hoods that have decent hood scoops for a car with no kit or anything...cuz i'm really for all go and no show...i frickin hate body kits, i just want a clean car with a k20 that i got for dirt cheap, hehe i think i found a group buy for k20 mounts yes!!!not sure how much though, i'll figure out the hood problems later, and is this swap legal? it should be right as long as i put all the required stuff in it, i live in cali.
