dude swapping those k series into older hatches is insanely difficult and costly, the ecu for those can only work with the original key and ignition form the car it came from, the ecu will not activate without that key and ignition, and the wiring is mad crazy, i am pretty knowledgable at swapping engines into civics, but i read the article in sport compact car, and man i wouldnt even know where to start for a ef civic, the obd 2 ek hatch was a bitch on wheels from what it looks like...but if u can do it more power to u, and u would be tha man..

overall lack of support on those motors makes them undesirable. Good luck getting a hold of a USDM RSX-S or a JDM ITR that are only a year or so old.

Read the latest Sports Compact Car, there's a whole article covering K series motors into ek. I wonder would be the same to have one in my integra.

The K-series motor is too expensive and not practical until they become more available. Right now its soo popular because its the "in" thing to do. With the money spent on a K swap, you could build a badass B-series
