come to think about it...my ZC had 150compression, and my D15 has 150....maybe my tester is just gay??

possiblity too....but i have had my WB sence i went to the dyno, only times i have been lean were at cruzing speeds not under load...

Re:just did a compression test on my B18.....what should it be???

Your rings are just fine, that is the correct compression for an LS due to it having a 9.2:1(i believe) compression ratio.

My b16a had 170-190 across, but that was because b16's have 10.2:1 compression.

My LS Vtec motor has 8.5:1 and when I do a compression check it gets 120psi across all 4 cylinders.

Re:just did a compression test on my B18.....what should it be???

umm....i thought that the place that sold me the motor said something about 200-205 on all cylinders?

i was thinking the same thing about hte CR...the ZC/D15/LS all have about the same CR...so same on the compression test then!

when i rebuilt mine the compression was about 175 acrossed

I assume your opening up the throttle when your doing the compression test?

I opened the throttle when I tested my b16 and it was 150 in 2,3,4 and 175 in 1, those are all within the specs listed for the b16 on the electronic manual that is stickied.

yeah, maybe the numbers are withing spec, but the fact that #1 cyl. is 25 psi. higher than the others is disturbing.

#1 is sometims more for some reason.

I got 195 in all 4 cylinders not too long ago when I checked. My d16z6 just turned 90k miles.

distrubing as in pictures of your mom naked, or more like, "hmm, that's odd"?

maybe the number one piston is the only one that is avoiding all my abuse.

hey thread jacker, thats not the topic ::) but the awnser is valve seals or turbo...or you could have some little gremlins in your motor pooring oil into the cylinders :P

guess what? hell no i havent done another compression test, im ------ lazy and forget ---- ;)

that's pretty funny. keep up the good work, you remind me of me, but I have a job where the I deal with the same idiots everyday, not like you where it's different idiots everyday.
