in your case johnny, I'd go b16a head. It would be the biggest HP upgrade you could do. I bet you it would make an easy 50whp.

I got a really good deal on that manifold, lets just say it might have accidently fell off the Edlebrock/JG truck into someones hands ;)

You can get a whole longblock b16a for 550 bucks! I know b-series vtec heads are hard to find. You should of bought that one I had, I could have even through in the IM.

I wouldnt even ---- with a set of cams for the b18, the head just doesnt flow like a vtec at all.

yeah i should've

i wonder what the gain would be between my motor at 10psi and a b16a at 10 with same turbo.

i know it'd make more horsepower but owuld it really be enough? i know it'd prob wouldn't make over 200ft-lbs of torque

Re:jg victor x intake manifold

Dave made around 230ish hp @ 10psi on his stock b16a I beleive, maybe it was 8psi? I cant remember, but I know the torque was real low maybe around 160ish? peak HP was definatly up there around 7500~8000ish, unlike the LS which makes all its power around 45~5000

Re:jg victor x intake manifold

so puttin a b16a in would be pointless. making roughly the same hp at 10psi and gobs less torque.

not to mention that my b18b has the power quickly availiable at pretty much any rpm. 3k to 6000

im either doin

sleeves/rods/pistons/lots of presure

or a boosted iroc

i found a 87 iroc with a LT1 swap for 2k. gunna hump it...

althought id hate to blow up a nice lt1 motor.

kinda leanin towards the camaro
