Hey, i have a few questions about a JDM sohc zc motor. I am about to buy a long block that has 35k miles on it and i was wondering what a good price is for one? Also i have a 95 civic ex now with a d16z6 in it boosted. will parts of my d16z6 bolt up to the jdm one? Also about how much HP do they have and what is the compression. Are they as good on boost as a d16z6? I plan to put arp head studs in it right off the bat, are they the same studs that are used for the z6? Thanks for the help i dont know to much about that engine and if its the same as or allot different then the d16z6. Thanks again.

 

I have that same motor your talking about. It is the same thing as a D16A6 but with a more agressive cam.

 

there are a couple sohc zc motors. The non vtec 1.6, carb 1.5, sohc vtec if it's the sohc vtec it's the same thing has a d16z6
