Default ---- JDM rubber.... NSFW

motor is an H22A in my prelude
all the hoses/rubber are OEM from slant eye'd land. Motor is out of a 95, and i estimate about 120+k miles. So the rubber is getting shitty.

Is the easiest way to access/remove the water pipe on the back of the motor, just to remove the t-stat housing, and unbolt the pipe from the block?

I have a coolant leak that I can't see exactly where its coming from, but there's only 3 hoses and 2 o-rings that it could be leaking from.

I tried ------ with it all day today, and i made a mess with coolant, got it in my eye, and its still dripping on the damn ground.

I ordered the stuff I need from Majestic so I'm hoping it doesn't bust a hose or o-ring while i'm driving. I can deal with a leak

Does anyone know of an easiear way to get the water pipe off an H-series? or is the way I'm thinking gonna be the easiest?

that's what i was thinking. I do know that when I build a motor and its out of the car, its getting all new seals/o-rings/hoses before it goes in.

I hear that, just on an h23.
And yes the back of the motor is the easiest way. Good luck, its a severe PITA.
