Default jdm f22b dohc = accod block f22a block?

does anyone know for sure what style block comes in that motor? i have done some research and come up with it is the same as the h23 and some saying f22. the main thing i want to know is if it is a steel sleeved block like the accord or does it have the bullshit frm sleeves? and also if it is closed deck or open? and what pistons are in there? if anyone actually knows for sure from a good friend or personal experience is what i am looking for and also how do they hold up to boost?

its an f22 block with the same 85mm pistons and 95mm stroke but with a dohc head similar to the h23. About 9.2:1 compression so about 10psi should be your max and ductile iron sleeves as previously said.

pretty much exactly like he said. i just rebuilt mine...everything connected to head is h23. everything on the block (including head gasket) is f22a1 (92 lude or 90-93 accord SOHC)

F22/23 and H22/23 share common blocks.

I don't think you quite got what joseph meant.

he meant that f22 and f23 share blocks, and h22 and h23 share blocks.

actually thay are the same block just the h22 has frm sleeves and the others dont the mold for all of these block are exactly the same, why do you think h/f series ---- inter changes minus h22 rod and pistons, even a h22 head will fit a f22 block look it up
