Ok, I recently spun some rod bearings in my d15b so im taking it out to build it then replacing it with a z6 and d15b head for the time being. What and where can I find some good rod/piston setups for this motor. It is the jdm d15b not the US d15b2/b7/b8..etc. Already made 178whp on the stock d15b at 8 psi. Looking to get around 220-230 on 10-12 psi. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also would a d16z6 crank fit into the jdm d15b to give it more torque?

The rods are the same as any d16's. Now the pistons, thats the only bad thing about d15b's. I got one and I'll cry the day it spins a bearing or the ringlands go out.

 

I believe the rods are the same but the piston height is different.
I wonder if using vitaras on eagle rods in a d15b block will work since the vitaras have a smaller overall piston height...
