jdm d15b comparison?
i have a few questions....first off i have the chance of getting a d16z6, complete long block and wire harness but no ecu or transmission w/ 22k on it for 900. or i could get a jdm d15b full long block and transmission for 585 plus shipping. what woudl be the better route to go? im plannin on boostin it so i was wandering dramatic differences or different problems with this plan. i was also wandering if i could use a p28 ecu AND z6 wire harness? let me know....Thanks alot

d15b is a pain in the ass for replacement parts, etc...

Re:jdm d15b comparison?
I bought a complete D16y7 for $100, with everything, including tranny. All D16's in stock form can basically handle the same power boosted. Get the cheapest thing you can find.

Re:jdm d15b comparison?
replacement parts arent bad for the d15b,
basically you get either vx or si/ex parts, depending on the part. mostly it uses si/ex(d16z6) parts, but some stuff, like the timing belt, water pump, are vx parts.. |
