jdm d15b comparison?

i have a few questions....first off i have the chance of getting a d16z6, complete long block and wire harness but no ecu or transmission w/ 22k on it for 900. or i could get a jdm d15b full long block and transmission for 585 plus shipping. what woudl be the better route to go? im plannin on boostin it so i was wandering dramatic differences or different problems with this plan. i was also wandering if i could use a p28 ecu AND z6 wire harness? let me know....Thanks alot

d15b is a pain in the ass for replacement parts, etc...

yes you can use all the z6 stuff, personally i like the z6 better.

I bought a complete D16y7 for $100, with everything, including tranny. All D16's in stock form can basically handle the same power boosted. Get the cheapest thing you can find.

replacement parts arent bad for the d15b,
basically you get either vx or si/ex parts,
depending on the part.
mostly it uses si/ex(d16z6) parts, but some stuff,
like the timing belt, water pump, are vx parts..
