I am going to buy a jdm d15 for 200, I was wondering what i could do to make it handle more boost and if anyone knew where to get rods/pistons for them, what type of fuel management i should run, whether i should use arp headstuds? any other info is appreciated. thanks.
you can get pistons at theoldone.com very good quilty
now a set of rods your really gonna have to search around for not that many companys sell d15 rods just an idea but you could post the block that will help a little bit and
for engine managment i'd lookin into turboedit all a jdm d15 is is a d15 mini me with lower comp. any way thats my 2 cent

dont buy it if ur gonna change the rods
very hard to find rods.
different from usdm d15 ones and d16s
i have the same engine and im just using the head on a built y8,the head is powerful.
if 200whp is enough for u then the d15bvtec is a good choice

good luck on the rods and if you snap a rod good luck trying to find another set. Honda don't stock them and the stock d15s are different. I was going the same route and good thing I only paid 200 also cause I'm just gonna pick up a z6 short block and put that on it and then parts are gonna be easier to find.
