Default jdm b16 wont hit vtec

ok so turns out i had an oil leak and i decide to rip on my car and it didnt have enough oil to hit vtec...could this cause my timing belt to skip a tooth....i think my belt might be stretched or something also cause it just never seemed right..the car has gsr cams and i was wondering if those holes on the cam holder downer if you will didnt line up with the holes on the intake cam and the one on the exhaust cam...anyway i was wondering if anyone has an alldata like something or other since i cant find all the specs to put my timing belt on...

hahaha yea my bad i didnt know what i wanted either i guess cause i didnt make any sense....anyway so i replaced the timing belt and everything is good as far as idle and rocker arm chatter....but my car still doesnt hit vtec...it was an all of a sudden kinda thing...it was low on oil and didnt hit vtec...i put oil in it still no vtec...i dont know really what it could be other than the solenoid...i dont have any blued cam lobes or anything.......since the solenoid only has one wire i assume that its hot...if i put power to that and then ground the case will that tell me if the solenoid is working?...

Make sure your radiator is full, and oil is up. That was my problem for awhile. If not maybe your solenoid is bad.

ok so i went out and checked my coolant and it was filled to the top and nice and green......i started messing around looking at the wires that run vtec from the computer to the engine harness...and turns out that the ******** who put it together just shuved wires into the pin holes in the computer and shuved a peice of a zip tie in there to hold them in....needless to say the ones on the engine harness came loose so i cleaned them up and just did the same thing they did but better and vtec works just fine....and the whole car feels alot better since the timing belt was replaced...so now i just have to adjust those valves and everything will be perfect.....thanks for your help though
