This will be my first B16 swap so I've been searching and just want a yes or no answer to my conclusions.

The engine is now on a 95 Civic Ex
My car is a 92 Integra GS
I guess the 92 integra is OBD1 so the engine should bolt right in, and the wire harness should all work fine. i can use the same ECU he has on his car, and will plug right in my car. Or use a an OBD1 GSR or delSol ECU or a P28. I need to add wires for Vtec and that's it a pretty simple swap.

Yes or No. Am I missing something. Thanks

OK, so I got the guy to give me his chipped P28 ECU for free too. Also got Hasport shift linkage and hasport axles.
plus the JDM B16a and transmission, everything for $900. Already sold the hydro tranny and my old B18 that will come out for $650. Cheap I know, but it's my friend. But I got the whole swap for $250 .

Now my questions, I'll do this tomorrow, so quick help would be great.

So the question is I need to add wires for the Vtec solenoid, pressure switch and knock sensor. Now I can wire the Vtec solenoid tapping into the wire itself, but the other 2 sensors I don't have the plugs for them.

So will the car run without those sensors plugged in. and what can I do to get those plugs.

I want to get the ECU rechipped to eliminate the knocc sensor and the pressure switch.

 

chipped p28 doesnt have knock and depending on the program in the ecu may hae the pressure sensor diabled also

 

Any chipped P28 don't have the knock sensor? This guy said it was chipped in Japan , he got the whole swap with a P28.

I found a couple of plugs that work from an old wiring harness. I can use them to wire those two.

Another question

I was swapping the wiring harness from the B18 to the B16, there's aplug for something right on top of the Oil pressure switch, some sensor on the B18, the B16 block has a plug on that location, no sensor.

Is this just extra and not used?

I believe ur talking about the temp sensor. It is in that location when its not on ur tstat housing.

 

It is in the T-stat, this is just another one, same type of plug, the round ones, with 2 wires, and it is green.
