I NEED SOME HELP IM GETING A ITR MOTOR AND I GOT A 92DEL SOL I NEED TO NO HOW TO DO A OBD-2 WIRING CONVERSION TO THE CAR TO GET IT RUNING CUZ IF IT DONT START IT CANT BE BOSTED SO ANY HELP OR ANY WEB SITES THAT MIGHT LET ME NO THANKS !!!

wait a sec.. did u say it was already in and wont start but you can boost it to get it going?

i'd say dont bother going obd2, stay obd1 and use proper ecu.

 

he said he is getting the ITR motor
he wants to know how to convert his del sol to OBD2 to get it to run(which I would think is only necessary if it is USDM)
he won't be able to boost it if he cannot get it to run

if its a 92 sol its either JDM or EDM. The us dident get the Sol until 93. The OBD2 update is an absolute pain in the neck. bring her to me and ill do it but it would take waaaaayyy to much time and i dont know how compident you are to explain this to you. basically you wither have to build a new ECU harness and add all the sensors or you have to find a conversion which i have yet to see. Get a junk OBD1 ECU and the ECU pigtails off an OBD2 car and i can make the harness and gve you instructions. that is proberly the best way i can think of ATM.

THIS IS A STUPID *** QUESTION!!! IF U DON'T HAVE ENOUGH SENSE TO KNOW NOT TO CONVERT YOUR CAR TO OBD2, THEN YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN BE THINKING ABOUT BOOSTING. HERE'S AN IDEA: CONVERT UR MOTOR TO OBD1 =P . YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO BOOST UR CAR WITH OBD2 EQUIPMENT W/O (IT WILL BE GAY/UNTUNABLE) GO GET SOME OBD1 INJECTORS, DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND A P28 ECU W/ "MUGEN" CHIP AND U'LL BE HAPPY.

yes it is. it is an utter pain in the ***. i coudl make alll teh conversion harnesses but it would be cheaper and easier to go with a p28 or p30 OBD 1 ECU and chip it.
