Issuing a Challenge

The Challenge: COMPLETE write-up w/ pics and text on assembling and ENTIRE motor. D-series. SUPER detailed. Almost so a monkey could do it. Hell, b-series is useful too.

The Prize: Satisfaction of teaching others :P

Just thought this would be a neat idea. And maybe if its good enough Jeff will host it. The tech section is in DIRE need of a new article. So the next time u are about to build that d-series keep notes! :)

pics are a must. People gotta see what you're talking about. Pictures are worth 1,000 words.

Re:Issuing a Challenge

It doesn't sound like a bad idea, but with all the machining that one might do, where others might not need to do it or have the money, it might get confusing. People might think they have to do "this" or the write up might not include something that the reader NEEDS to do. I thought about it, then I came to the conclusion that if you don't know what your doing, you shouldn't be doing it. Specific details are available anywhere on the web. It's just a take apart and put back together situation. I don't know..... ???

hey crx88si, you can start printing out the 368 page manual that's stickied on the front page and selling it to educate people.

why don't you just burn it to a disc? then you can just print out a certain page that you may need while working on your car
