integra ls problem

well im having some problems with my ls its bogging really bad and has an ideal surge i have replace the map sensor tried three different ecus and injectors im starting to lean towards the tps sensor but the car ran fine before boost then it was rebuilt boosted and the turbo seals blew so i brought it back to n/a and ever sense i went back n/a it hasn't been running right car was on 10lbs of boost if that matters to anyone any help needed thanks

Are you serious, you don't have time to search, but you have all of that time to change out parts. Doesn't make much sense.

Well first thing to check, is to see if you have any cel's. (ie do you have a check engine light?) Do that then get back to us.

Sounds like barring your switching any harness plugs around, you have a boost/vacuum leak. Find it.

02 sensor would only cause problems in closed loop, and it would have to be shorted to ground or B+ to cause running issues like this.

Tune/boost leak is more likely.

well i pulled the codes it did have a cel its throwing a iacv which i knew because of the idle serge but that wouldn't cause the car to bogg down like it is you can barley get the car moving as it is it was also throwing some other code that didn't seem to make any sense it was something to do with the dizzy and one of the sensors inside of it but it still threw the code after i but another dizzy on which i know was good. i put another tps sensor on and it was still bogging horrible bad the timing is good were are going to replace the iacv tomorrow just to rule it out for good but i dont know if the tps we put on was any good because it came off of a used throttle body and i didn't search because im not an idiot i know what things do so dont flame me for something that i have asked 10 people about and they all say the same thing i dont know where else to go 2 sets of injectors 3 ecus 2 dizzys 2 different 02 sensors 2 tps ( i think both were bad) does anyone else have any suggestions the car is obd2 wiring d series harness with obd1 ls motor swap with conversion harness running obd1 ecu and the conversion harness for the dizzy i need some help im going to post a video up tomorrow so yall can hear it instead of me explaining it

Re: integra ls problem

You should check the voltage at the tps to see if its anywhere close to where it should be, it should be .45v(or 4.5v if you have the wrong wires probed.) now if thats close, then slowly open the throttle to see if the voltage progressively changes, at wide open you should see 4.5v(or .45v if you still have the wrong wires probed) if thats correct then thats not your problem.

The dizzy code is is a major problem though, thats where the ecu gets its signal from. if you put another dizzy that you know is good on, then i'd check for bad/no connection or a short in the wiring.

BUT from the sounds of all of the random codes, sounds like there alot of stupid problems that could cause other problems. First thing i'd do is open up the ecu and make sure nothing got fried, if thats the case make sure you double check all of your wiring before getting another ecu, because you'll just fry that one also.

Fix codes. Check your wiring. You know how to use multimeter, if so use it

ya i looked at the ecus already none seem to be fried i am going to test the tps today to check it and i think the problem might be in the conversion harness going from the obd2 dizzy plug to the obd1 dizzy ill check that later today thanks for the info on the tps. i dont understand with the codes though we got a code 9 10 and 14 so we are trying to check them off one by one thanks guys ill keep posts up
