intake swap
 
guys I have a d16y7 and I dyin' to swap out the stock IM, i can't seem to get my hands on Y8 im, so i was wondering would using one from an eg6 work??? only cause there're all over the junkyards on my end....

you must block off the iacv ports in the back of the manifold and use your own thottle body with attached iacv

or use the TB and iacv that goes to the new manifold.

i have a guy selling his old skunk2 IM for 150.00 it's for the Y8 engine. just manifold nothing else

y7 has 3 wire iacv, z6 has 2 wire
unless you run a obd1 or y8 manual ecu your stuck with 3 wires
