Instrument cluster changeout

Im hoping to put all new aftermarket Autometer gauges in where my original factory ones were. The question is, will the car start or would it degrade its functions if none of the connectors are connected to anything where the original cluster went (fuel, speedo, tach, temp).

im pretty sure of one.. not the rest. but u will get a VSS CEL because the stock speedo drives the signal to the ecu

if its a 92 plus you will be fine, just be sure to rewire you cel, brake and othe important lights.

only 88- 91 sense speed from the gauge cluster (hence the use of a speedometer cable)

all this assuming its a honda

Yes it is a 1993 honda del sol. By brake lights and CEL?? do you mean the parking brake and turn signals, engine light, brights, and so on? What is CEL?
