Install steps/Tq sepcs on Eagle rods for B18a/b
I finally got everything to finish the motor and since I bought these used I don't have instructions if there is a tighten down seq. and the tq specs on these. These have the ARP2000 rod bolts also.

So that dude finally sent you those rings?
You speaking of the rod bolts? I would assume there isn't a particular order because there are only 2 bolts, but ---- I've never done it before so I could be wrong. And after searching I found 2 different torque specs, 28 and 44 ft-lbs. I'd hit up ARP to get the exact one. |

I emailed Eagle so I'm just waiting to hear something back. Yeah Blake finally sent me my rings so I can finally put this engine together and sell it easier then selling a half put together engine is kinda an eye sore for people.

the correct way to torque down rod bolts is to use that bolt stretch tool
but i guess if u use enough lube a torque wrench is fine |

just called Eagle and they just said tq down to 28lbs and thats it. No step tq'ing. Bottomend is now complete! Hopefully this thing should go faster now.
