Ignitor question B16A2

Can i use any ignitor from any distributor from a honda or does it have to be a b16a2 distributor?

im not sure...but mine as well just get it for the B16a2. just to save yourself the hassle.

if you looking for B16A2 distributor i have one for sale came out from my 99 civic si, i dont need it because i swap the engine to older civic 88hatch, and if you need the ecu too i have it........... $100 for the distributor

any B series distributor should work. But i'm using the igniter from the my old motor which is the 92 Honda Civic CX igniter. And it works great.

Actually, the older distributors and newer style have differnt mounts on the ignitors, so they will not bolt right in.

any 96-00 sohc or dohc distributor will work.
i can get you one brand new outta the package from honda for 160. thats shipped.

um be sure its your ignitor, i recently replaced all of my ignition componets. if i was u i would buy the whole distributor from the kid who is selling you his old si one for 100 bucks.
