Re: ignition output signal?
You need to check to see if there is power at the two pin connector at the distributor with the ign on if not then it is a short or something in the wire coming from the ign switch fuse box.If there is you may have bum igniter.

The IGO is the signal the ECU sends to the ignitor to tell it to fire. Lack of power on the 2P connector will make it seem like the ignitor is not there to the ECU, or a bad connection on the IGO wire itself, or a bad ignitor.

Re: ignition output signal?
changed the nigniter today and that wasnt it. well maybe the ignitor was bad, was going to sell the car to skinnye but the stupid car wouldnt start, im afraid to try the one from my coupe due the fact that it might mess mine up. reason i ask if there the same is because the part numbers are different. obd0 civic si is 06302-pt2-000 my 93 civic ex 06302-pt3-000. It is ------- freezing outside and snowing, kind of a pain to work on it currently. What a piece!!!
