i need instructions on how to hook up on a d15 i got everything hooked up (red,white,black) but i have a green wire and a brown wire that has a magnetic clamp that clamps around the number one plug wire.The green wire can be hook to the negative side of the coil.But wheres the coil.if you have ever hooked up a tach like this hit me up with info.And how do you set it up for 4 cyl motor.

 

I've never hooked up that type of tach. I'm not sure if all year model cars had this, but on my 88 dx there's a blue wire going to the gauge cluster that is where you need to hook up your green wire.

 

the coil is inside the distributer. when you pull the cover off its right on the top.
