idle problem
 
hey guys i got a problem i put a new intake manifold and throttle body on my d16z6 turbo and now the idle is fucked up it idles really high on cold starts like around 2300 then it will drop down to 1500 rpms then when i drive puttin it in neutral it will stay around 2000 as a idle then when i come to a complete stop it will drop back down to 1500 btu sometimes it will run normal at 800 rpms liek it should i dont get it i kwno it could either be a vac leak a tps sensor or maybe even a iacv has anyone else had this problem? my car is also runnin very rich at idle thanks anfo infor would eb helpful

Check the FITV valve, they get fucked up alot, just gotta take the plate off and screw it in clockwise

^^ ya.. simple check to see if that valve is the cause, plug the bottom hole w/ a cloth or your finger (may pinch you).

if the idle drops to 800 when you plug the bottom hole that FITV is the cause.

if the idle drops when you plug the top hole its the IACV.

if neither fixes it you got problems else where, check tps voltage. if tps volts are .4-.5 @ idle then sounds like a vac leak.

hey guys i just wanna say thanks for helpin me out it ended up being the fitv i took my intercooler pipe off and covered the bottom hole and it dropped right down now all i gotta do is take the plate off and screw it in thanks again guys
