IDLE PROBLEM
 

yea I finally finished the swap(ls/vtec---90 crx) and the car is running fine but the f#$%ing thing idles at 3 grand. i ALREADY rotated the idle adjustment screw all the way clockwise ( which is the way to lower the idle) and it still idles at 3 grand. sometimes at the light it goes down to 2000 rpms but it is rare. ANd lastly I sprayed brake cleaner around the throttle body to see if the gasket had a leak but it did not seam to. so do you guys think it is the throttle body gasket or the tps sensor or something else.

vac lines are a big thing on those damn obd-0 car's. same ---- happened when i first did a b16 swap like 3 years ago. fixed the vacuum lines and it was normal. go and recheck your vac line connections making sure they dont have any holes in em ;)
