Idle air control valve nightmare
hey guys just finished doing a a b16 swap into an 88 dx hatch!! the wiring wasnt that hard hence i had the help of a fellow hmt MEMBER....well the problem is that after all the wiring is set and done the engine started after some stupid ground was bolted in place.......now the real problem!!, the idle keeps jumping from 900- 1600. i,ve checked the usual culprits the fast idle valve replaced it and so on. but the main thing that i got to narrow it to is that the iddle air is not "CLIKING" when eva i disconnect or connect the plug meaning its not getting any voltage? so i did the next best thing and wired pin A11 str8 from the ecu to the iavc and still the same problem and getting code 14 for the IAVC..... any ideas?
would that keep the ecu from sending a signal to the IACV
cuz i tried the valve on another car and it works fine..and as far as the wiring to the valve itz basically a ground from the ecu and the signal right?? and by the way i read the entire sticky and notting related to what im having
