idle at 2k
b16a1 with 99 si intake manifold and STR TB on a 90 hb si
ok how do the lines on the iacv suppost to be hooked up....this is how its hooked up right now....coolant lines from the thermostat housing then i bypass that line to the left inlet on the iacv ..i think its supposrt to go on the TB then to the iacv, but since i have a STR TB it aint got a cold start..so then i jess ran it straight to the iacv then the right inlet of the iacv is hooked up to the block to where the coolant runs on the lower radiator hose..!!is that the right way... is this the cause of high idle at 2k...moring starts are cool its at 900-1k..then as the motor gets warm then it goes to 2k and stays there..what could it be..HELP :'( |

Weird problem have you done any engine swaps..? If i were you i would check your idle controler, probably an easy fix take it to your local performance shop and they can reprogram the comp.
