hybrid fuel
there was a thread a long time ago that talked about how to make hybrid fuel...as in like, mix a little of this and a little of that and you have great gas. It was pretty much the budget c16
anyone know where I could find that information

Re: hybrid fuel
I remember the thread but cant find it.
1 part tolulene (paint thinner) to 4 parts (or was it 5?) high octane. Used to do it back in the day but damn that was years ago.
Not very cost effective in the long run, lest you just want to crank the boost up for a quick jaunt down to the local track.

Re: hybrid fuel
I buy jugs of Toulene from General Paint [get the membercard %20 off] 5gallon size and mix it with pump 94 octane to come out with 100octane ish.I mix 3.5 gallons of 94 pump to 1.5 gallons of toulene and throw a splash of ATF in for lube.Works great and 5 gallons is good for some rippers and passes at the track then I back the boost or timing off for street duty on straight 94.
