how much boost can a b20 bottom end hold
i have an ls/vtec b20 bottom b16 top i got h-beams from eagle and wiseco pistons bu tim wondering how much boost can the actual block take ???

im also wonderin the same thing im getn ready to put my b20 together with a gsr head but my bottom end is stock wat would be safe for a daily driver i was told 8-10 psi

you can push as much boost as you want on the stock block...the question you have to ask is how long do you want it to last? i wouldn't go much over 8-10psi (if that) especially if you're expecting it to last for an extended period of time.

ls/vtec golden eagle kit golden eagle rod h beams pistons are wiseco lower compression lower girldle installed so it holds good in high rpm arp bolts for everything t3 t4 turbo b16 head skunk 2 internals (for the head ) stock gsr camshafts skunk 2 intake manifold obx throttle body i dont remember the rest let me know what you guys think of the set up anything else i want to push around 350 to the wheels for now. later ill get sleeves on the block or maybe do the block filling (dont know much about it but i have 2 zc block from germany and a b18a so can try on those) but i need to wait see what the guy sais when the weather get hotter |
