how much boost

Re:how much boost
Engine blowing is not dependent on amount of boost but how much power you're making. I say with good fuel management 200whp would be all I would push a D as a daily driver. Some have gone beyond this but problems will eventually come up.

LOL, yes listen to Chris ^^^ 15psi with no management.
Seriously though man, you have to do a search. That question has been asked sooo many damn times. Guys here will flame you just for asking that. It really comes down to tuning. Do a search.

Re:how much boost
ya lets tell a newbie things to do when its totally fucked up, listen bro most 1.6l d series and 1.5's can take 200 whp fine all day long so pretty much any decent turbo on 10 lbs max tuned if u want it to be reliable, 200whp is around 220-230 to the crank. keep it safe bro.

Re:how much boost
only reason why we tell him to do that ---- is because he didnt search and were tired of seeing that damn questoin... "how much boost can it handle, what size turbo should i use, where can i get a bov, do i need a bov?" all those ------ questions are annoying.
