how the hell do you tighten the crank pulley?
 

seriously on a Honda its impossible if you dont have an impact gun. how the ---- do i keep this thing from fallin off???

just like taking it off, impact gun is the best way to go.

stop being a girl and just tighten it down the best you can, if you are worried about the engine spinning when you try to tighten it, just set the car down on the ground and put it in gear.

Hehe.. ..and of course there is a ghetto way of doing it. :-D

We wedge a long flathead screw driver in one of the holes, and put it on the lip of the block and the oil pan. Then get our your ratchet, stick a socket on it, put it on the bolt, then get a box end wrench 19m works great, and slip it over the handle and use it as a ghetto breaker bar. That will give you the torque you need to tighten that hooker down with one person. ;)

well, i tried somehting simular. had my roommate push on the brake with the car in first while i tried to tighten the bolt the engine still spun?

Put the car in gear and use your muscles. Worked for me....but I'm strong so you may have a hard time :-*

lower the car onto the breaker bar.

thatll tork the bitch up nice n tite.

take your bracker bar put it on the crank bolt wedge the bracker bar against the lower control arm and bump the starter a few times it works perfect.

omg, you didnt just say that.. haha, dustin will probably "crank it over" not bump it, and shear the fucker right off.

i always use an old jack bar as a breaker bar. put it over the end of a wrench. or you can use an old tourqe wrench, they're pretty long.
