i remember hearing once all i had to do was connect 2 wires in the connector of the fan and that was it. i don't wanna do it using a switch, i want the fan to turn on when i turn on the ignition switch.

You can pull the plug off the connector on the thermostat housing and stick a paperclip in it or you can put a scotchlock on the two wires.

well i stripped both wires(without cutting) on the fan switch sensor conn. then i twisted them together and waraped some electrical tape on'em. i had a overheating problem. i gutted the thermostat and did the constant fans on and now it runs way cooler, even after a few hard runs in 3rd and 4th it stays at normal operating temp then falls down a bit if i don't get on it.

its not good too remove the thermostat. It can cause your coolant to flow to fast and it wont cool in the radiator like its suppose too, and you have no heat :-\.

Put a thermostat in it. Your motor was designed to run at "operating temperature". ;)

well I am not sure what it does but I would suggest that if you can find the hottest thermostat you can that might be enough to just bring it up a little and be perfect. BTW what is you set up. Kinda sounds like you are running lean mabey.

Re:how do i make the radiator fan stay on all time w/ign. on?
to make the fan stay on with the ignition switch just take the green wire out of the temp sensor on the t-stat housing and ground it to the block. that way you dont have to worry about shorting out the fan relay. what i did was put an alligator clip on the wire so i could just unhook it if i didnt want the fan on.
