honda sir tranny in integra ls
hahah...
short gear - better acceleration but high RPM's at cruising
long gear - not as good acceleration but low RPM's cruising
decide what is more important for you. we cant build you your car

then you know your answer. :P
Or if you want to get all sophisticated you can always get a B16 tranny and then swap in the final gear to the final LS gear. That way you will have great acceleration and still save gas at cruising... I JUST HAD TO MAKE IT MORE COMPLICATED!

Interesting just due to the fact I'm about to do that same exact thing since my LS tranny locked up on the Integra. Judging from what I had on my Civic before when I had a b16 tranny, I would be cruising freeway speeds (70) at about 3500 RPM. The LS transmission is just about dead on 3k rpm.
They will definitely be compatible.

what about a gsr tranny? i put one on my ls and its beautiful. 80 mph is about 4200rpm in 5th(not as bad as the b16 trans) and i can still get through gears pretty quick. or better yet, gsr tranny with ls 5th gear. or better than that, gsr tranny with ls 5th with lsd. i think that would be beyond the perfect trans for a boosted ls motor
