i have a 95' teggy ls and i was thinking about swaping out the tranny for something a little nicer. it is a transmission from a honda civic. it is a S4C (Y80) - i think. it has a helical lsd. anyone ever have experience with this transmission? do you think that this transmission would fit up? anyone in general have a civic si? (5speed) thanks

 

will work, but can you stand super close gearing.

Yeah those gears are tight like whoa, good for going fast, bad for cruising 100mph on the highway.

 

Waiting for the ls/vtech questions does it really work can i do it blah blah .

 

But it rev's alot. A guy i know put that in his ls teg a year ago and was shifting gears like crazy. He always drive to work and he worked an hour away and had to take the highway. 2 weeks later he got an ls tranny. Don't get me wrong the tranny is nice and fast, but long distance it can be a bitch.

 

What is a really long geared transmission? I also want helical LSD so.
