honda cel 71 72 73 74
Im trying to help my neighbour out and when i checked his codes he had the 71 72 73 74 wich is all 4 cylinders misfiring. I checked the ignition timing, and it was off a bit, i set it right and it didnot studer and pop as bad, but it still dose from idle to about 3500 rpms, then if you rev past that it seems to get better. I advanced the timing past the marks, just to see what it would do, and the studering got alot worse..
I was thinking fuel filter or pump, but that would also cause a lean afr, and there was no code for that, what else should i be looking for. |

suposidly the timing belt was just replaced, by a "profesional" so i didnt check that but i prob will tomorrow.
Since i cleared the cel codes, they have not come back, but it is still doing the same thing. i guess they will come back sooner or later... Iv been researching the ---- out of it, and it is replace the basics, wires, pumps, filter plugs, then the dizzy. Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar, and what they did to fix it.. |
