when reving past 7000rpms in an b18b do you only have to worry about your head? because if i get titanium retainers/springs and new cams, do i really have to worry about reving past 7000rpms??? do i have to worry about my crank? thanks

ls valvetrain is fine at 7k. Honda cranks dont break

but i mean, if i am going to replace the cams, i would just replace the whole valvetrain, i think that it would be the smartest thing to do since the head is taken apart.

if you already have it all tore apart, then yes, i would replace everything, if you have the money for it, and the capabilities. however, as others have mentioned, i would worry about the rods before the valvetrain itself.

if you're looking for high revs, yes, you need to upgrade valve train and cams and get on a dayno to see if you're even making power up there, or else there's not point. rods for high revving ??? that's like saying upgrade your valve train so you don't blow your head from over boosting :P
