Hey you ZC guys.
What are you using for aftermarket or oem spark plug wires. The plug wires that were on the original motor were bad, so I ordered up some accell wire for a 89 teg. They almost fit but some of them wouldn't fit all the way down and snap on the plug. After cutting them up pretty bad I gave up on those.
Since then I found some free oem wires from a 89 teg so I try those and the will all snap on, but after running the motor they will pop up off the plug. So what are you guys using? |
Re:Hey you ZC guys.
I thought the ones from the 89 Teg would work? ??? I'm just using A6 wires. They stick up like a sore dick, but they work. I've been wanting to get some that fit right. :-\

Re:Hey you ZC guys.
what about early prelude? i know thats where u get the t-belt from.
|
Re:Hey you ZC guys.
why not just buy replacement wire cores
so u reuse the rubber ends and replace the wire remember to buy a can of wd40 cuz that ---- doesnt come off without a fight |
Re:Hey you ZC guys.
The rubber ends are the problem. They stick up past the valve cover. Buying new wires would not fix that.

I just used some apc wires. 98 civic ones. Adjustable plug well covers. I got them from pepboys. They should do the trick.

Re:Hey you ZC guys.
I had a problem with my oem wires..
My 4th cylinder spark plug would pop out after a good hard drive? Is this crankcase blowby? |
Re:Hey you ZC guys.
Sinister, a lil while ago I had an emmisions test type repair order and I had to find any wires that would fit my (past) d15 and these wires (APC) were from round that time. None of the shops round here had any wires including honda. My last chance/choice was pep boys. After I bought them I realized that the well covers were adjustable. So, when I got my ZC they ended up fittin perfectly. I ain't ricin' Sinister, it's just this s**t ended up bein' my only choice

Re:Hey you ZC guys.
I had magnacores also on my old ZC and they fit like a glove.
