I need some help in identifying a few things, the numbers aren't in order since tripod wouldn't save the page after I cahnged it, but if you could just match up a name with a number that would be fantastic:

it's gonna be fun putting this thing in. I got my ecu today from vinny (whiteb16crx), thanks vinny. Still waiting on my distributor from onyx (sent 2 days after ecu). after I get that I need to buy radiator hoses, injector wires, spark plug wires, alternator belt, anything else you see from the pictures (or that you know of, allen) let me know so I don't have to walk to the parts store for it. I need 4 quarts of oil, how much coolant does my 4g radiator hold?

 

BTW, what the hell happened to that motor? its awsome to see you get a b-series but who did you buy this from?

1 = IACV
2 = Vaccume tube for the valve on the firewall next to your map sensor
3 = booster hose nipple
4 = fuel pressure regulator nipple
5 = bolt on for wire harness for the fuel injector harness
6 = i dont remember teh sensor name, there is only one like it!
7 = same as 6
8 = oil pressure sensor
9 = no ------- clue. i can tell from that picture.

 

I bought it from kero-916, it's not that fucked up, just the power steering part on the crank pulley is fucked, and I don't have PS. do you have any idea what the shiny think in my first spark plug picture is? looks kinda like a socket, I'll have to pull it out with a magnet. IACV=intake air control valve, correct?, I'll get some more pictures of #9, I think it might be my shift hookup, not sure though, at first I thought it was my steering hookup.

 

ok 9 is the shifter, make sure you have teh correct shifter or it will nto work out for you. yes IACV = idle air control valve, and i cant tell what shiny thing you are talking about other than the tip of the spark plug.

 

check out the fist plug picture, then the second, it looks like there is something metal and shiny around the spark plug, but not in the second picture. He told me what to do on the phone with my shift linkage, but I wasn't paying attention, I'll e-mail him tomarrow about it.

 

I don't think that #4 goes to the fpr, isn't there a hose already going to the fpr? isn't the fpr that round thing with the hose on top towards the bottom of the picture?

 

i think #4 goes to some fuel vapor canister or some ----, it's by the fuel filter on my teg

 

what car guide could I buy to figure this ---- out? del sol is obd1, gsr is obd1, 90-91 ls is non vtec. do they sell ef9 guides here in america in english?

 

90-91 ls should be close.
