Default help: transmission problems...

Hey guys,

Need help with my situation:

I have a CX/DX tranny on my SI motor - reason is it was free; SI tranny was grinding and the CX/DX was free. Fluid levels have been checked 3 times.

Here is the problem:

Having great difficulty shifting gears - almost like the clutch is NOT disengaging. I have adjusted the clutch cable almost to the max and there is only a little bit of the clutch actually conneting with the flywheel - can tell because it slips very easily if you release the clutch at a higher rpm. Reverse is really bad - grinds before it actually gets into gear. Pedal disengages clutch only in the last 1-2 inches before it returns to its original position (as if it wasn't pressed).

Please help - I need this car as my daily driver. I'm wondering if my input shaft might have got bent or if my release fork and bearing might have been damaged in any way.
