Help me design my build.

I need to start putting together a projext car, I hope to have it together by next summer, which isn't bad considering I don't have the car or any parts yet. :)

Plans:
92-95 civic hatch
D16Z6 or D16Y8
Tuner toys rods
weisco pistons
comp cams stage 2 cam
crower springs and retainers
stainless valves (haven't decided on a brand yet)
Haven't decided on a clutch/flywheel set yet.

I want this to be a low 11 sec/ high 10 sec car by the time the project is complete. I can't decide on which turbo to run on this car, I want to run in the 25-30 psi range but still spool before the rev limit, a t3 .60/.63 wouldn't be big enough to efficiently push that much boost is it? I'll probably run a KRBfab (i think that is their name) mani/3 inch downpipe. 3 inch charge pipes, Greddy type RS BOV, and a tial 38 mm WG with an open dump tube. Tuning of course with Crome pro. :) Last, will be a Zex bottle to give me the little push into my goal 1/4 mile time. :)

Anyone see any flaws in this list so far? I'm assuming this will be too much for a JRC or CCA IC, so are there any other HMT approved brands? Will that turbo hold up? If not, what should I run? Any ideas on a clutch/flywheel brand? Any ideas on a valve brand? Any other suggestions on this list are greatly appreciated.

Dont want to burst your bubble but there have been like 3-4 low 11 sec/10 sec d series and those mods are good for maybe high 200's. To run low 11's you need 10g's+ its reality

your sleeves will grenade if left in stock form. (resleeve $$)
try a sc61 ballbearing turbo
your on your own for a IC

*might* have a problem pushing enough cfm's to push 30lbs. through a full 3in diameter charge pipe before you hit your revlimiter. its only 1.6 liters...

ive been tuning on a d16y5 pushing a big16g at 22-24psi at around 375whp and running 11.50's, thats just rods/pistons/450's pinned wide open/Crome/pegleg tranny.

the manifold is even a shitty one.

so basically im just gonna disagree.

Really, there is a guy here running 11.9 on a stock block (yea it is a freak, i know) z6 in a 93 hatch. Total cost (excluding car) $2800. :) Granted he just blew the engine the other day, but he has made a summer worth of 1/4 mile passes before ---- went wrong. And that car was a ghetto build and only running 10lbs from a 57 trim turbo. I just want to do a good build and knock a second off of that time. Shouldn't be to hard with upgraded internals, bigger turbo, and about 10K to spend. :)

Re: Help me design my build.

if you have money to spend get a b block sleeve it and make 400 whp and you have your low 11's high 10's

Re: Help me design my build.

I don't want a b. I want to rock the underdog. :)

add sleeving to your build. a good size turbo should do the trick. t3/t04e 57 trim should get you into mid to high 300 whp

I was just going to post it and take my chances, but I am starting to lean more towards sleeves.
