Default help me build my car

Ok hey this is my first post. I wanted to know what I should do to my 93' civic ex (it's puprle). I have about $4000 to spend on the motor. I was thinking of a b16 or a LS, and trying to make it a sleeper. Tell me what you think I should do.

Well theres a motorsports store by my house (d2motorsports),and I kinda have a hook up there. This is what he said he would give me

Long-block b16/tranny/ECU for about $2500 w/install
B18c1/tranny/ECU for $2800 wo/install
Ls motor only for about $700 wo/install

And I kinda want to make it as fast as I can with out spending so much. There was a thread on here about the LS someone built for cheap and it would beat GS-R, maybe something like that. so is that enough info?

I have turned to b-series, but it's not necessary. The d-series blocks are capable of more power than you need if you build them. d-series is also much cheaper.

Spend $1000 on turboing your d series, and put the rest in the bank.

Be smart, don't be a retard.

whoa, those are 'hook-up' prices? Find yourself another hook-up and do what stealth said, "Spend $1000 on turboing your d series, and put the rest in the bank." You'll need the extra money when you blow your ---- up

you could always find like a a6 or zc and biult it and turbo it. cost you about 2500 when your totally done if you can do most of it yourself. the only thing im not doing is assembling my motor. i figured if im gonna pay that much for all the ---- id rather have someone who knows what there doing instead of me doing it. and then the rest is cake. drop the motor in and turbo that biatch

I'm assembling my engine myself, it should turn out good just judging by how well my block posting went.
