help getting car started please
 
I got a 93 vx hatch from a junkyard for 1300 the interior is mint the car was wrecked in the front light damage, new core support new fenders and then carbon hood and some kinda front bumper but anyways it doesnt start? it ran before it was wrecked obviously and its been sitting is why it doesnt start i think, any ideas? it cranks but wont run, im gonna try spark plugs and wires tomarrow, what goes bad when a car just sits?? any ideas would help;)

couple things check sprk you know put like a sprk plug at the end of a wire and turn it over see if theres spark if not maybe an airbag switch shut it off secong check gas they drain gas tanks at junk yards 3rd check and see if theres an ecu in it thats all i got right now

check gorunds get good clean fresh gas and good spark make shure u can hear the main relay kick on when u turn the key over to accesories change fuel filter

also, remove dizzy cap and check the contact points for rust.

before you spend any money on wires and what not, take the plugs out, but leave them attached to the wires, set them ;on the valve cover and turn the car over. if the plugs look bad go ahead and get new ones. if there is no spark check the points on your dizzy cap, sand them clean if needed. put some good fuel in it, spray some carb cleaner in the tb (take intake off) if there is spark, carb cleaner should get it to kick over. but also check the stuff mentioned by others

ok, I will try all those and the guy said he didn't hear the fuel pump kick on when he tried to start the car so he said that might be out. I think it could be the fuse to the fuel pump too so I am going to check that too. Thanks alot for the help anymore ideas will help too.
