check your battery cables. My girlfriends car did the same thing and it was the battery cable.

You drove through the bermuda triangle... :P

Honestly, check your alternator, ground, add more grounds if you have to, and battery leads, you getting any check engine lights at all? if so check the code. most likely its not that though.

Doubt that but it does sound like a short from the ground cables.

Re:heeeeeeelllllllllppppp?

could be the main relay, i wouldnt drive it til you fix it bro, i had the wires pinched up front for my lights from my charge pipe it rubber through glitched and ---- like that then caught on fire. i've also had it do that and it was a ground, so put a few more grounds like one offa the alternator bracket.

whats the main relay and how would that efect it ?

Re:heeeeeeelllllllllppppp?

I had my main relay short out on my CRX. What it ended up doing was blowing the fuse to my ecu, sending 12volts to my starter relay (while i was driving...ouch), turning the fuel pump off, and killing power to the coil. Then on top of it, it caught on fire a melted up the underside of my dash >:( The only way i could fix it was to rewire it with bosch relays and toggle switches :P Definately check the main relay...most of the time if it's an older car, the solder joints crack and become "cold". All you have to do is pull the cover off and resolder it, and should work fine. Try that, see what it does.
