Heater only blows cold air
It just started doing this the other day. I jumped in my car after it had been warming up for 20 minutes expecting to have a nice ride warm to my class. NOPE it was 20 degrees out and my heater only blew cold air. I was told it my be the thermostat so i ordered one from honda and installed it and it is still blowing cold air. Its not the blower motor cuz it blows hella air its just cold and all of my fuses are fine. Any of you guys think you know what may be causing this horrific event?

what condition is your coolant in? are there any air bubbels in the system? did you burb the system out when you replaced the thermostat?

Re: Heater only blows cold air
has it warmed up already?(water temp needle goes right below 1/2)

Re: Heater only blows cold air
no heat could also be a water leak
|
Re: Heater only blows cold air
check the valve that controls coolant flow to the heater core. Could be a snapped control cable.
is the car over heating? |
Re: Heater only blows cold air
My car does not leak anything nor does it overheat. I think it may be a clogged heater core or one of the cable to my controls got stuck or snapped.
