headlight trouble

ok so my headlights did not work last night at all.. i would try turning them on and off only to get a little flicker of light then nothing. before this started happening it would take a long time in cold weather for them to turn on (5 min or more). and when the do work the passenger side light is dimmer then the drivers side(been like that for nearly a year now). the high beams work fine though.

i have replaced both headlights, and bulbs recently so i know thats not the problem. this morning i tried putting them on and they went on for like 5 sec then shut right off again? wtf! i am currently using an HID system but am pretty sure thats not the problem at all, cause i can put the stock bulbs on and does the same thing.

any ideas.. the left and right 10w fuses under the stearing column look fine..

so what you guys think?
