Default headgasket problems?

i have a new head gasket on my "fresh" block. i can see some oil seepage on the right front side under my vtec pressure switch (b18c). I torked it down to spec with a snap-on tork wrench.i had a compentant engine builder go through my engine an he said my decks were level.is this "seepage" natural? btw im breaking it in with valvoline convential 10-30.

Are you sure it's coming from the head gasket?

i really appreciate all your input but i know its my head gasket. Its leaking right below my vtec pressure switch, i have cleaned it off 3 times already to confirm where its leaking from.why would it do this if the tork specs are right? could it be a bad gasket? I have seen peeps on here reusing there gaskets and not have any complaints, but mine is new.Is there a "break-in" period for a head gasket?

Just like anything, they just go out sometimes. Was this motor boosted? Head bolts or head studs? Gasket material? Copper spray? Was the head surfaced/checked for warped spots? What about the block? Any overheating? Alot of things can cause it and alot of things can help prevent it.
