Default headgasket problem

well my car was overheating and blowing white smoke so i decided to replace the headgasket well tonight i started her up and she still overheats and blows MORE white smoke... my compression is around 120 (b18a) and when i open up the valvecover i dont see any milky oil or anything nor on the dipstick and no oil in coolant... but when i start the car and open the radiator cap smoke is comming out of it... and there is smoke comming out of the pcv valve and oil fill cap... my guess is that the new gasket isnt seeting right... any opinioins?

no i dont think the block or head is warped.. but i didnt straight edge them.. it ran good before i took the headgasket off.. it just blew white smoke... now it runs like *** because of no compression... guess ill pull the head and take a look again....

over heating could and will cause your head to warp... is your coolant over flow tank filling up? is this car boosted?

i'd try to re install your head gasket..if it's MLS coat it nicely with copper gasket spray and make sure you tourqe your head bolt properly..

I agree with check out both of these. In a worst case scenario, and probably highly unlikely.. if you've detonated HARD before you could have cracked a sleeve...? just a thought, but I doubt you did.... let us know what you find out
