Haha. I would only do it if your car only sees the dragstrip. Now I know this isn't a honda, but I had a '78 camaro (454 bitches) with a welded rear end. Every time I took a corner the outside wheel would go squeak squeak squeak as it skipped along. Very annoying and it will attract lots of unwanted attention from the cops.

back when the black crx was my daily driver i had the diff welded in the j1 for over a year its not bad at all when i first did it i expected the thing to push like crazy but infact it had a tendency to turn tighter at speed.

Axle wear!!

Great cheap-o route to go if you're more concerned with dragracing than, say, practicality or common sense. Car isn't that hard to steer if your car isn't a heavy slut. Light CRXs or gutted hatches only, and damn the consequences.

It was a Chevy Luv with a built 350. Pull up to the parking space, cut the wheels, mash the gas for a split second, and the ass end comes 90 degrees around. None of that chattery, wierd, wheel skitter ---- when trying to close corner.

Shame it isn't so easy in the FWD world.
