back when the black crx was my daily driver i had the diff welded in the j1 for over a year its not bad at all when i first did it i expected the thing to push like crazy but infact it had a tendency to turn tighter at speed.

Axle wear!!
Great cheap-o route to go if you're more concerned with dragracing than, say, practicality or common sense. Car isn't that hard to steer if your car isn't a heavy slut. Light CRXs or gutted hatches only, and damn the consequences. |

Re: has anyone welded a honda d series differential??
It was a Chevy Luv with a built 350. Pull up to the parking space, cut the wheels, mash the gas for a split second, and the ass end comes 90 degrees around. None of that chattery, wierd, wheel skitter ---- when trying to close corner.
Shame it isn't so easy in the FWD world. |
