hard starts once warmed??
when my car is cold, it starts very easy BUT once its warm i have to hold the key for like 5 sec, it turns over for a sec then stops then slowly cranks twice THEN starts i cleaned the rotor & cap, battery terminals but no luck...the battery is relocated in the trunk (red top optima) but the positive cable has about 3 1/2 feet of slack also there is this lame push start button that was installed on my car when i got it. what should i do?
BTW my car isnt boosted anymore

try checking your main relay. i noticed that when its cold i will herar the relay click and i wll get fuel presurre but after a while of driving if i shut it off to go into the store or something the relay will not click and it will be hella hot. afiter it cools down for a sec it will start up fine.

Re: hard starts once warmed??
I just fixed my main relay yesterday as I was having the exact same problem. Take it out and re-heat all of the solder connections, should work fine. (you're supposed to de-solder and re-solder the connections, but reheating them so they flow again works just fine.)
If you don't know how to solder, bring it to radioshack and ask nicely, they'll usually do it. (I did when I worked there)

My fix is just jumper the fuel pump wire from one of the key on sources that goes to the relay. I did it to both my EF's, otherwise a new main relay is about 28 bucks.
