hacking into CHECK ENGINE light....
ok, i have a 91 civic Si w/b16a1 and converted into OBD1 p28 ecu...the problem is why can't i hack into the ecu where that plug with the 2 wires so i can see what codes my car is throwing?? when i was using the OBD0 JDM b16 ecu it had an LED light on it so it wasn't no big deal...did anybody had the same problem as i did...need help ASAP........

Look at the pinouts for the ECU. Just splice the wires, no big deal.

Most conversion harnesses come with 2 wire you can put on a switch to enable it.

Im with the same problem, how can i hack into the ecu so i can see what codes my car is throwing. And where is, that plug with the 2 wires

i know in my xenocron harness its the orange wire and the blue wire u need to connect to flash the check engine light. i have an obd1 converted 90 teg

see, the reason why i'm so confused is b/c my conversion harness from rywire.com looks like this....all nothing but gray except the vtec and o2 wires...
