Just saw a H23A1 engine in the yunkyard.
It's pretty big....2.3L DOHC Can it be swapped in a CRX???
Is it closed deck like the H22?

hmm yeah...maybe I'm out of funds right now. I saw the engine i thought it was a ZC but when I got closer the block was huge. They're asking 350 for the longblock and tranny

buy that anyways... you can resell it for WAY more

butyes, ive seen a couple h22's in crx's (h22 and h23's are same demensions)

i've seen a few in crxs. but the hood wasnt stock. my friend also had one in a rex. the hood wouldnt close cause the motor sits too high. so they got the gude hood. but yes..it is a closed block. h23 block with h22 head will make the same power as an h22, but the 23 will give it more torque then the h22 alone. good luck

damnnn that sounds nice. A H22 head is hard to find though.
Got to luv that torque
