i have heard the h22 96 and older are close deck wounder if it the same for h23

96 and older h22 are close deck design so i would assume h23 would be the same because it gets the extra displacement from a longer storke as oppose to wider bore. h22 96 and older are good for low boost but for high boost 25ish plus the open deck design is better because it has larger main's for the crank shaft so the bottom end would be strong and you just would have to resleeve.

IS it posible to put steel sleeve into a H serie close deck (its alunium sleeve)

are you sure the h23 is aluminum sleeved, the block is made of aluminum so why would you stick aluminum sleeves in an aluminum block? i guess its possible to be a different aluminom alloy.
